After a rental-car collision

1. Stop in a safe place. If anyone is injured, call 119. If there is immediate danger or police help is needed, call 112.
2. Contact the rental company using the number on your contract, then follow its insurer instructions.
3. If safe to do so, record the location and photograph vehicle damage and the surrounding scene.
4. If the car can no longer be used, agree on a safe meeting point before asking about separate passenger transport.

Use the official E-Gen service to check current facilities. Confirm opening hours and language support with the facility before travelling. For a medical emergency, call 119.
