What to do in Jeju on a rainy day

Last updated:

Plan a rainy day in Jeju around indoor attractions in one area, with time for meals and short transfers. A private vehicle can connect those stops into a flexible day. Check attraction notices and discuss route changes before travel, especially when strong winds or severe weather affect your plans.

Where can I go indoors on a rainy day in Jeju?

Jeju National Museum is an option for local history and culture in Jeju City. ARTE MUSEUM JEJU offers media-art exhibitions in Aewol. Choose the venue that fits your location and interests, and check its current opening notices before setting off.

Can I change my private-tour route because of rain?

Share your preferred indoor replacements and any timed admissions with Jetopia. Jetopia reviews the revised route against the booked service period, attraction access and the day's conditions. Keep the updated stops in writing so everyone has the same plan before travelling.

Should I keep outdoor stops in the itinerary?

Keep outdoor stops optional and review the forecast and the attraction's own notices before visiting. A nearby indoor alternative makes the day easier to adjust. Choose the day's walking and coastal stops around the actual conditions and your group's preferences.

How much does a private vehicle cost for a rainy-day tour?

A Carnival or Staria costs KRW 200,000 per vehicle for the standard 09:00 to 19:00 service. The driver, fuel, parking, insurance and driver's meal are included. A later start still ends at 19:00. Review any extra options or extension charges before agreeing to a change.

Does rain automatically qualify me for a full refund?

The weather-related full refund applies when a flight or ferry is officially cancelled because of severe weather or another natural disaster, after evidence is submitted and verified. Ordinary cancellation follows the published timing bands; a rainy forecast alone is not the stated exception.
