Yongdam–Iho Coastal Road & Dodubong Rainbow Coastal Road

The Yongdam–Iho Coastal Road runs along the sea right beside Jeju Airport. Here, you can get a close-up view of planes flying low over the water as they come in to land, making this a favorite spot for photos. The road connects to Rainbow Coastal Road in Dodu-dong, where seaside barriers painted in seven rainbow colors stand out against the blue sea. The small hill rising near the shore is Dodubong. A short uphill walk takes you to the top, with views of the airport runway, Jeju City, and, on clear days, Hallasan Mountain. The red and white horse-shaped lighthouses at Iho Tewoo Beach are also landmarks along this route. Around sunset, the whole sea glows red, so consider coming back in the evening.
